Privacy policy

In short: this site uses no cookies, no analytics and no ads, and it does not track visitors. Your data reaches us only when you write to us or sign the game leaderboard with a nickname.

1. Who controls your data

The data controller is Corporate Filip Marek, tax ID (NIP) 7772993186, ul. Bułgarska 80D, Poznań, Poland. For anything related to personal data, write to office@loczniki.com.

2. What data and why

• Email. When you write to office@loczniki.com, we process your email address, your name (if you give it) and the content of your message. We use it to reply, prepare an offer or arrange a collaboration. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in handling correspondence (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, when we talk about working together, steps taken before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Game leaderboard. If you enter a nickname after a high score, we store the nickname, the score and the date. The nickname and score are visible to everyone on the leaderboard, so please do not use your real name. Legal basis: providing the service you ask for, adding you to the leaderboard (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). To limit cheating and spam, we keep a one-time game code and a hash of your IP address for 24 hours. The hash is one-way and uses a random daily key that we delete the next day, so your address cannot be read from it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Server logs. On every visit, the hosting server automatically records technical data: IP address, date and time, browser type and the page visited. They keep the site secure and working (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use them to identify visitors.

3. Cookies and browser storage

This site does not use cookies. There is no analytics, no ad pixels and no embedded third-party players. Fonts and video are served from our own server.

Your browser's local storage keeps: your chosen language, your high score in the game, whether animations are paused, the last nickname you used and the IDs of your leaderboard entries (so we can highlight them). This information stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can clear it in your browser settings.

The only cookie on this site belongs to the leaderboard admin panel and applies only to the administrator after logging in.

4. Who receives data

Data may be processed on our behalf by the service providers we use:

• website hosting and email: Zenbox (zenbox.pl), a Polish hosting provider.

We do not transfer data outside the European Economic Area.

5. How long we keep data

• Correspondence that did not lead to a collaboration is kept for up to 3 years from the last message (the limitation period for business claims under Polish law).
• If we work together, we keep correspondence for the duration of the collaboration and then until any claims expire. Billing documents are kept for 5 years from the end of the year in which the tax payment deadline passed, as required by Polish tax law.
• Server logs are kept by our hosting provider (Zenbox) for the period set in its rules, for security purposes only.
• Leaderboard entries are kept until you ask us to remove them, until moderation removes them or until the leaderboard is reset. The game code and IP hash are deleted after 24 hours.
• Once a year we delete data whose retention period has ended.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Just write to office@loczniki.com.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland).

Giving us your data is voluntary, but we cannot reply without an email address. We do not make automated decisions and do not profile visitors.

7. Leaderboard moderation

We remove nicknames that are offensive, vulgar, unlawful or contain other people's personal data. You can report a nickname with the "Report a nick" link under the leaderboard or at office@loczniki.com. To remove your own entry, write to us with the nickname, score and approximate date of the game.

8. Links to other sites

This site links to TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, our course store on Gumroad and press articles. Once you follow those links, their own privacy policies apply.

9. Changes

If we change how we process data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
